ATV tours are a great way to explore Costa Rica, and we're often told it's the highlight of a client's vacation. iQuad offers a selection of ATV tours around Nosara, Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, Playa Garza and beyond. Our tours offer a way to see some of the finest scenery Guanacaste has to offer from the comfort of a quad.
Only parts of Costa Rican roads are paved, which means lots of dirt roads for quadding. This is especially true in Guanacaste, so you will get dirty! Costa Rica also has hills and mountains with climbs and bumps that will challenge the more adventurous ATV driver.
Nosara Adventure Tour
Our most popular tour! This is a 4-hour tour that starts out crossing Rio Nosara on a hanging bridge, winds through the local village, and then climbs several mountain ranges with spectacular views of the of the Guanacaste region and the Pacific Ocean.
Descending toward the coast, we stop for a jump in a waterfall and a refreshing swim. There are several river crossings in this tour as we trek through the jungle. We stop several times during the trip to take photos.
Included in the tour: ATV, helmets and certified tour guide.
CUSTOM TOURS
All of these tours have the option to be customized by you, just email us with your preferences. Please keep in mind that prices change depending on the tour and lunches are optional and will not be included in the prices.
SOUTH COAST TOUR : Head south to Samara Beach and stop by some of the top beaches on the way, Barrigona, Barco quebrado and Carillo. This tour can be up to 6 hours long, once you arrive in Samara Beach you will have plenty of time to shop around, have lunch, etc.
NORTH COAST TOUR: Head North and visit our favorite beaches on the way, Ostional the turtle beach, San Juanillo the snorkeling beach, Marbella beach and Pitahaya beach with the amazing cliff look out spot. This tour can be up to 6 hours long, once you arrive to San Juanillo there’s a couple of options for lunch in the area.

Mountains, rivers and farms: This awesome tour has it all, mountain trails, river crossings and it finishes off with a visit of Nosaras Organic Tour, they will give you lunch and a tour on how they grow food and raise their farm animals.
Wheels and waves : Head south or north and surf a couple of the top surfing spots in the area !!! Going south, fist we take you to Barrigona beach followed by lunch in Samara beach and we finish off with surfing in Camaronal. Going north, first you surf in Ostional, followed by lunch in san juanillo and finish off with a surf session in Marbella. ** for this trip we recommend using our side x sides, since atvs don’t have surf racks**
Coffee Lovers Tour
Love quad bikes? Love Costa Rican coffee fresh from the field? You’ll love this tour!
The welcoming owners of this local, organic coffee plantation will take you on a short walk to see the coffee trees and discuss the local growing techniques that are specific to this region. They’ll invite you to their home, where you’ll see the methods of roasting and grinding the beans while you enjoy a warm cup of coffee, and if you’re lucky, you’ll also enjoy some of the local fruit they’ve grown on the land.
